I prefer starting with an inquiry via email or the contact form so I have all your travel details in writing. Once we verify availability, we can easily arrange a phone or video call if needed.

Entrance tickets to attractions, meals, drinks, accommodation, and personal expenses are not included unless specified and agreed upon in advance.

Can we book only a transfer?

Yes. I offer custom sightseeing transfers and private chauffeur services throughout Austria and Bavaria. Please note that rates reflect both licensed guiding expertise and luxury transport services.

Do you offer a smaller vehicle?

No. To maintain the highest standard of luxury, space, and safety, all driving itineraries are operated exclusively with my top-spec Mercedes-Benz V-Class.

Do you offer Hallstatt walking tours only?

No. I specialize in complete, full-day experience tours from Salzburg that combine Hallstatt with the most spectacular landscapes, lakes, and hidden gems of the Salzkammergut Lake District.

Is a half-day Hallstatt tour possible?

Yes, but a full-day tour is strongly recommended. Hallstatt is about 90 minutes driving time from Salzburg each way, so a half-day trip leaves very little time to truly enjoy the village and scenery without rushing.

Private Tours in Salzburg

What is a private tour in Salzburg?

A tour reserved exclusively for your group. The itinerary, schedule, and pace are fully customized to your preferences, whether exploring on foot or by vehicle.

How much does your service cost?

Tour prices depend on the itinerary, duration, driving distance, and season. Walking tours in Salzburg start from €250, half-day tours from €350, and full-day tours from €750.

Why isn't there a fixed price?

Every tour is tailored to your interests, schedule, and group size. Since each itinerary is different, I'll prepare a detailed quote before you book, so you'll know the exact price in advance.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept bank transfers, credit cards, Wise, PayPal, and cash. Deposits can be paid securely online.

What does your service include?

Professional guiding, customized itinerary planning, private transportation, road tolls, and parking.

What isn't included?

Entrance fees, meals, accommodation, and personal expenses.

Can we hire you for several days?

Yes. I regularly organize customized multi-day tours throughout Austria, Bavaria, and neighboring regions.

Do you offer shared tours?

No. All tours are private and reserved exclusively for your group.

Booking

How can I book a private tour with you?

Send an inquiry via the contact form or email with your preferred date, group size, and chosen tour. You will communicate directly with me without booking platforms or middlemen.

Can I book by phone?

Please start with an email or contact form inquiry, so I have all the details in writing. A follow-up phone call can be arranged if needed.

What is your cancellation policy, and is prepayment required?

Cancellation terms are confirmed upon booking. A deposit is required for full-day and multi-day tours. The remaining balance is due on the day of the tour.

Why book directly instead of through a platform?

Direct booking ensures no middleman commissions, direct communication with me, and a fully customized itinerary.

Transportation / Practical Questions

What vehicle do you use?

I use an extra-long Mercedes-Benz V-Class (for up to 7 passengers) featuring comfortable forward-facing seating, air conditioning, and ample luggage space.

Is hotel pickup included?

Yes. Hotel pickup and drop-off within Salzburg are included. Alternatively, we can meet at Mirabell Palace or another central location.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes. Child seats and booster seats are available free of charge upon request in advance.

Do you offer simple transfers or only transfers with sightseeing?

I offer sightseeing transfers only. These combine transportation with professional guiding, allowing you to see and learn about the places along the way.

Can you guide us if we have our own car?

Yes, I can guide you in your vehicle. However, the rate remains the same as when using my Mercedes-Benz V-Class.

Can you accommodate larger groups?

Yes. For groups of 8–14 guests, I arrange a second vehicle and guide. Larger groups are accommodated using trusted local transport partners.

Can you take photos during the tour?

Yes. I can take quick photos on your phone or camera during the tour. Professional photoshoots with my Nikon camera are also available upon request.

Hallstatt & Day Trips

Do you offer standalone Hallstatt walking tours?

No. Hallstatt is only offered as part of a full-day tour from Salzburg, combined with selected highlights of the Salzkammergut Lake District.

Is a half-day Hallstatt tour starting from Salzburg possible?

Yes, but I recommend a full-day tour. Hallstatt is about 90 minutes from Salzburg, so a half-day visit leaves little time to enjoy the region.
