National Park Berchtesgaden in Bavaria

The National Bavarian Park Berchtesgaden is a natural wonder just a few kilometers away from Salzburg City. Despite its relatively small area of 840 km2, it boasts a plethora of unique historical, natural, and cultural highlights. Berchtesgadener Land was recognized as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1990.

The most well-known attractions include the mountain lodge Eagle's Nest, the spa resort Berchtesgaden, the crystal-clear Lake Königssee, the salt mines museum, and the iconic mountain Watzmann. However, there are many more hidden gems waiting to be discovered beyond these popular destinations. I would like to invite you for an exciting journey.

The Berchtesgaden tour can be extended by visiting the salt mines, the Documentary Center, Summer toboggan, Schnaps distillery, Königsee Lake, Resort town Bad Reichenhall, Alpine panoramic road.
